Academic Highlights: A Report on the 13th Annual General Meeting of the OCEANS Network, July 1st-2nd, Vienna, Austria

I am delighted to provide a detailed account of my participation in the 13th Annual General Meeting of the OCEANS Network, an academic confluence that unfolded in Vienna, Austria, from July 1st to 2nd. This event served as a prominent forum for academic discourse, collaborative engagement, and intellectual growth within the realm of international education.
The meeting was a convergence of students, alumni, and professionals dedicated to advancing international education. It was a privilege to engage in conversations with like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among alumni networks in furthering our collective mission.
Throughout the event, a series of insightful discussions, workshops, and seminars explored the latest developments in international education. One of the highlights was gaining a deeper understanding of the organisational structures of sister networks within the OCEANS community. I had the honour of representing WBAA during the Annual General Meeting and was heartened by the warm reception received.
