EMA Signs Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ASAF and WBAA at the NEO-ENFP-ICP Meeting in Brussels

The Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA), African Students and Alumni Forum (ASAF), and the Western Balkans Alumni Association (WBAA) have formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation among the networks under the Erasmus+ Students and Alumni Alliance (ESAA). The signing took place on the 5th of February, 2025 during the NEO-ENFP-ICP meeting in Brussels, Belgium, underscoring a shared commitment to strengthening collaboration across regions.
Representing the organisations at the signing ceremony were:
- Prince Malouono, Board Member & Liaison for International Cooperation & Collaboration, African Students and Alumni Forum (ASAF)
- Dr. Milan Stojanovic, Member of the Regional Board, Western Balkans Alumni Association (WBAA)
- Dr. Collins Santhanasamy, Board Member & Director, Partnership Development Unit, Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA)
This MoU highlights a joint effort to foster international collaboration and knowledge exchange among students and alumni of the Erasmus+ programme. The agreement establishes a framework for cooperation on various activities, including network development, capacity-building initiatives, and advocacy efforts. By leveraging the strengths of each association, the partnership aims to support alumni engagement, strengthen regional cooperation, and contribute to the global visibility of Erasmus+ programs.
This milestone reflects the organisations’ dedication to enhancing opportunities for Erasmus+ students and alumni worldwide, ensuring that the Erasmus+ community continues to thrive as an influential network of young professionals and changemakers.
