Join Us in Sarajevo: WBAA General Assembly 2025

We are excited to announce the commencement of preparations for the upcoming General Assembly (GA). Scheduled for Sunday, 13^th of April 2025, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the GA will host 60 WBAA members from across the region.

Every WBAA member registered on the Online Community is warmly invited to apply to participate in this important event, starting from the 10^th of February 2025. Application forms will be accessible in the Online Community. If you’re interested in attending, please submit your application by the 17^th of February 2025 at 12:00 CEST.

Annual Conference & Local WBAA Event – Limited Spots Available!

In addition to the General Assembly, we are pleased to announce that on the 12^th of April 2025, an Annual Conference and Local WBAA event will be held in cooperation with ESN Sarajevo. This event will provide a unique opportunity for networking, discussions, and collaboration with key stakeholders. However, due to venue capacity, only 20 spots are available. If you are interested in participating, please indicate your interest in the application form. Selected participants will need to arrive on the 11^th of April 2025 to take part in this exclusive event.

Selection of Participants

Participants from each National Chapter will be selected by their respective National Representatives, ensuring a balance between new and active members. New applicants will be evaluated based on the strength of their motivation, while active members will be chosen for their previous contributions to WBAA’s activities and goals.

Logistics Information

• Costs Covered: Travel, hotel accommodation, and meals during the event will be provided.
• Accommodation: Arranged for up to two nights, with arrivals expected on the 12^th of April (or three nights with arrivals expected on the 11^th of April for those attending the local WBAA event and Annual Conference). Rooms will be shared (twin occupancy). Due to potential limitations, some participants may need to share a double bed.
• Travel Recommendations:
  • Bus or private car travel (carpooling encouraged) is preferred.
  • Travel costs by private car will be reimbursed upon submission of a reimbursement form and trip itinerary (0.28 EUR/km).
  • For air travel, bookings will be managed by the Erasmus+ Support Service Team in consultation with participants.

Important:

Please apply only if you are certain of your availability on the scheduled date. As places and budgets are limited, cancellations should be avoided to allow others the opportunity to participate and to ensure efficient use of resources.

Selection and Confirmation Timeline

Participation is subject to a selection process. Submission of an application does not guarantee a place. All applicants will be notified of the selection outcome by the 21^st of February 2025. Selected participants will then have one week to confirm their attendance by completing their registration for the event.

The General Assembly offers an incredible opportunity to explore WBAA’s mission, deepen your engagement, and connect with members from across the Western Balkans. Together, we aim to restore WBAA to at least half of the excellence it achieved during its golden era, fostering a vibrant and active network for our region.
