Self-Branding Training and EU's Green Agenda promotion
WBAA project "Self-Branding Training and EU's Green Agenda promotion" is a 4-day event which gathered 21 participants from 4 WBAA chapters from June 15th to 18th, 2023, in the National Park "Fruska Gora" near the city of Novi Sad in Serbia.
The project focused on two topics:
- Self-Branding: Nowadays, self-branding is the best tool and strategy for helping professionals reach their personal and professional goals by sharing knowledge with the community and establishing authority in their area of expertise. In our case the self-Branding Training provided the attendants knowledge on what the personal branding is, what its benefits are, as well as personalized approach that helped the workshop attendants set a strategy to achieve their own goals in this area through interactive methods such as case studies, and group discussions. Special attention was put on how to build a personal brand on social media platforms with a focus on LinkedIn.
- For the Western Balkan region, the EU’s Green Agenda is officially accepted as the main guideline for accomplishing sustainable growth and regional prosperity of the Western Balkans citizens on their way toward EU integration. This event highlighted the importance of the EU’s Green Agenda and helped attendees better understand it by discussing previously prepared successful example study cases by each participant.
The hotel’s scenic location in Banostor village, between Novi Sad and the National Park “Fruska Gora” on the Danube River, fully aligned with the project's topic and definitely added value to the event.
In addition to the main goals, this project aims to promote WBAA and the EU-funded mobility programs and to provide a platform for WBAA members to network and exchange experiences.
On the last day of the project, participants had the opportunity to visit the interactive multimedia exhibition ‘Mileva: We Are One Rock’ at the City Museum of Novi Sad, where for the first time, the life and importance of Mileva Marić Einstein were presented to the international audience as part of the project: Novi Sad - European Capital of Culture 2022.
