WBAA’s Participation in the OCEANS AGM and Annual Conference

WBAA board member Dejan Galovski actively participated in the OCEANS Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Annual Conference (AC), held in Prague, Czech Republic, from 12 to 14 July 2024.

The event was moderated by OCEANS president, Samir Beharic, a former WBAA Board Member from the Bosnia and Herzegovina Chapter. The conference featured active participation from various ESAA networks and regional representatives, including ESN, EMA, garagErasmus, and ASAF. During the conference, Mr Galovski presented WBAA, making a significant impact on attendees and influencing their perspectives on alumni engagement and collaboration.

In addition to the presentation, Mr Galovski, alongside representatives from other organisations, engaged in discussions about future collaboration and the potential for organising joint activities. These conversations highlighted the importance of fostering partnerships across alumni networks to strengthen the global higher education community. WBAA’s participation in the OCEANS AGM and AC proved to be a rewarding experience, underscoring the pivotal role of international education and alumni associations in driving transformation in global higher education. Such initiatives continue to nurture valuable connections and create opportunities for future generations.
